DALLAS SHOWROOM

While working as Manager of Product & Design at Kuzco Lighting I became involved with the presentation and company aesthetic. The layout and design of the flagship Dallas showroom was a large undertaking for my small team and no detail was too minute. I contributed to everything from the spatial design to the lamp displays in addition to our regular product development cycle.
Some of the most interesting opportunities were site-specific designs such as the custom reception desk and bar/lounge space. I designed the lighting and arrangement of the entryway along with the accent walls; spaces with intersecting light patterns to showcase the product potential.
A Yayoi Kusama-inspired mirror room was created within the showroom and was intended to present an ideal location for posting photos to social media. The installation remains a popular and attractive element of the space today. In recognition of our efforts we were awarded Best Visual Presentation.
