SMART CHAIR
2012
The Smart chair is a response to architects desire for more rectilinear furniture than was previously available in the Humanscale offering. It is the product of renowned ergonomic expert and chair designer Niels Diffrient.
I had the distinct pleasure of working closely with Niels in translating all his full scale drawings into 3d geometry. There were numerous iterations whereupon I would create scale drawings of newly surfaced geometry that he would in turn draft over top. Every revision resulted in my creation of another round of renders from which Niels would provide feedback.
