Similar to the process for the Collar chair the Circa went from CAD to full-scale foam mock-ups for initial review. My conceptual contributions were mainly for the stool series although I was heavily involved in the fabrication and development for each iteration.
Niels Bendtsen and Giancarlo Stefani were the leads on this project creating the primary concept and models around which the later versions were based. I worked with both designers and as an early project during my time with Bensen, this was a valuable introduction to their process.
